Emily Celis

As a professional healer and mother to 3 younger children, I often feel overwhelmed, and sometimes I get to the point of depletion. Yet, I have a deep spiritual side and I know that overwhelm and depletion are spiritual problems, and are not where I want to spend my time. I have a lot of knowledge and experience in the healing arts realm (more than 15 years)…but even with all that knowledge and experience, I still fall into the traps of over-giving, overwhelm, and depleting myself. There are many reasons why…and I am constantly looking within to find those answers and move beyond those blocks and barriers. One of my main barriers is finding authentic places free of ego to feel safe enough to “let go” and “do the work”.

I am incredibly grateful for Yve and the work she has done to be the beautiful holder of space that she is. I appreciate and am thankful for her Temezcal “Corazón Colibrí” (sweat lodge ceremony) and how she flows with Spirit in curating these unique ceremonies just as they are and must be for all those in attendance.

I have had the privilege of attending many sweat lodge ceremonies in the Lakota and Sioux Indian traditions and have always felt such a connection to this way of healing. This Temezcal ceremony space was created by Yve and her excellent partner, Armando, and son RaYa with reverence and a deep

soul. I look forward to many more to come.
